Risk Assessment

Covid-19

First, read this: Know the Risks

It comes down to being smart and aware of where you are and who is around you.

  • Walking = relatively safe
  • Bike Riding = relatively safe
  • Picking up To Go = relatively safe
  • Riding public Transportation = relatively RISKY

  • In proximity to others for 5 minutes or more = RISKY
  • In proximity to others wearing masks = less RISKY
  • In proximity to others without masks = RUN LIKE HELL

  • Inside your home = relatively safe
  • Inside anywhere else = you are taking a RISK

  • Outside your home, in your yard = relatively safe
  • Outside your home, elsewhere = it depends:
    • If you are not wearing a mask = PUT THE MASK ON!
    • If you are moving and/or the air is moving, and you are wearing a mask, and no one else is around = relatively safe
    • If you are stationary and/or the air is not moving, and you are wearing a mask, and no one else is around = a little less than relatively safe
    • If you are stationary and/or the air is not moving, and you are wearing a mask, and people are out but moving around = relatively risky
    • If you are stationary and/or the air is not moving, and you are wearing a mask, and people are standing around = RISKY
    • If you are stationary and/or the air is not moving, and you are wearing a mask, and people are standing around WITHOUT MASKS = RUN LIKE HELL!

If you are outside your home and think you are going to touch anything, wear gloves; if not, carry some hand sanitizer. And wash your hands as soon as you get a chance!
